ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

To give you total peace of mind we've made check-in contactless. Your Beach Retreat will be ready from 4pm and your key can be collected from the secure lock-box right next to the front door. You will receive the lock-box access code on your day of arrival. 

 

On your departure day, we kindly ask you to vacate your Beach Retreat by 9am to allow for our thorough cleaning procedures. Once you are packed and ready, please return your key to the lockbox location and our Housekeeping Team will begin cleaning ready for our next guests.

Basic bed linen is provided in each bedroom and one towel per person, we recommend bringing extra towels for your stay. Beach towels are not included.

FAQ'S
  • What's included in my stay?
    We provide all bedding and bed linen, one bath towel per person, tea towels and a dishcloth. There is onsite parking for one vehicle per Beach Retreat.
  • How does check-in and check-out work?
    Your Beach Retreat will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is by 9am on the day of departure. A member of our Reception Team will meet you at our main hotel gates and give you directions to finding your Beach Retreat.
  • Where are the Beach Retreats located?
    The Beach Retreats are located within the heart of Woolacombe village, about 300 yards away from the Woolacombe Bay Hotel. They are just a few minutes walk from the sands of Woolacombe Beach - the walk back from the beach is uphill, but isn’t too punishing. Click here for further location details...
  • Do we have to pay a deposit to book?
    Yes, a deposit of £150 is required to book your Beach Retreat accommodation, with full payment taken 7 weeks before arrival. Should you wish to book an arrival date within the next 7 weeks, full payment will be taken at the time of booking.
  • What if I need to cancel my booking?
    If you have booked to stay in the self-catering Beach Retreats and decide to cancel, your deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel less than 7 weeks before your arrival date, full payment will be retained.
  • Are the Beach Retreats dog friendly?
    Yes, dogs are welcome to stay with you in any ground floor self-catering Beach Retreat. A charge of £50 per week for up to two dogs applies. Please be sure to pack your dog's favourite bed and bowl.   • Is there a minimum length of stay?
    There is a 7 night minimum stay for all Beach Retreats unless otherwise stated in a promotional package or seasonal offer.
  • Are families welcome at the Beach Retreats?
    The Beach Retreats offer space for up to 6 people (first floor) and 4 people (ground floor) and have space for cots which can be provided for you. Please call us on 01271 870388 for advice; we’re here to help you find the best family-friendly accommodation for your dynamic. If requested when booking, a cot and/or high chair can be provided in all Beach Retreats. Cots are supplied including linen.
  • Can we smoke in the Beach Retreats?
    No, all Beach Retreats are smoke-free zones. We ask all of our Beach Retreat guests to be mindful of other guests at all times and we reserve the right to request guests to stop smoking for the comfort and health of all guests.
  • Do the Beach Retreats have sea views?
    Some of the first-floor Beach Retreats offer far-reaching views down towards the sea over the village of Woolacombe. Perfect for sunsets. Please call us on 01271 870388 before booking if you have specific accommodation requirements.
  • Can you recommend places where we can hire equipment for outdoor pursuits?
    Happy to! Whether you're outdoor pursuits fanatics or complete beginners, it’s always useful to know where you can hire kit on holiday, and we're big advocators against single use items like foam bodyboards.
